Objective:
• Design the retail packaging for a new low-cost
  digital camera aimed at an international
  audience of Wal-Mart customers.
• Effectively target audience teens and
  young adults.
• Create a presentation for Wal-Mart’s annual
  VPI meeting to win the consumer electronic VPI
  product of the year.

Solution:
Create a “jump-off-the-shelf” international
packaging design using color and imagery tied
directly to the culture of each country.

Result:
Vivitar wins an opening order of 1.4 million unit
order from Wal-Mart's Global Electronics
Division… Vivitar’s largest single opening
order ever.
